Kylie Minogue

Kylie Ann Minogue was born on 28 May, 1968. The eldest of three children, Kylie's acting career began early, but it was her role as Charlene in the Australian soap "Vecinos"(1985) which established Kylie as an international star. Her singing career began purely by accident when a record company executive heard Kylie's rendition of Little Eva's 1962 hit "The Loco-Motion". She signed with PWL Records and hit-makers Stock/Aitken/Waterman in 1987. Five albums and a greatest hits compilation followed, and she made history by having more than 20 consecutive top ten hits in the UK. Her motion picture debut came with the starring role of Lola in The Delinquents (1989). She left PWL Records in 1992 to head in a decidedly more mature musical direction, and her self-titled debuton deconstruction records was released in 1994, spawning chart hits like "Confide In Me" and "Put Yourself In My Place". Kylie's doings were always a favorite subject of the press, but she really made waves with her controversial 1995 duet with Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, "Where the Wild Roses Grow". 1997 saw the release of Kylie's first single in more than 3 years, "Some Kind of Bliss" co-written and produced byJames Dean Bradfield and Sean Moore of The Manic Street Preachers.

She experienced a fantastic grounding, and since then, her smash hits haven't nipped in the bud.

The World Cup Championship

How did Australia live the World Cup Championship?
Spain won, and we're really glad of it, because the Netherland team showed to us that they didn't want to play football, karate instead, when a holand player hit the brave Xabi Alonso in the chest. And it was only the start of the match. The awful referee Howard Webb should had sent the brute animal off from the match, but he looked to another side and didn't dare take the red card out. The match went on, and the holand fouls continued too. The problem was that they were afraid of the fantastic Spanish play, because Netherland doesn't know to play as well as Spain. And on Sunday we checked it. Spain tried to continue the play, but as soon as they got the football, any holand players went like cruel animals to hit the Spanish team. Nevermind Spain knew how to go on and to worry about the "clean game"; a word that lamentably, the holand team, can't understand. But if their conduct wasn't good, referee's one was terrible. It was clear that Howard Webb didn't want Spain to win, although he recognized that the Spanish team was the cleanest in the World, but his duty was to make justice.
Anyway, even though the intolerable Howard Webb's preferences, and the terrible holand "players", the Spanish team showed to all the world that they're the best, and they can perfectly win a wretched mob.
But before the FIFA handed the trophy to the fantastic goal-keeper and Captain Iker Casillas of the Spanish team, the organisation gift to the "losers" the silver medals, and there was a quite respectful gesture of the holand manager, that put away of his blond head the undeserved prize. The Spanish manager, Vicente del Bosque went with his great boys to celebrate the well-meritorious victory of the BEST TEAM OF THE WORLD.
CONGRATULATIONS, SPAIN!!!!!!!
